This web site of Iowa Civil War monuments has been compiled by the Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War (SUVCW). Monuments, cannons and GAR halls are included.
Kentucky
Based on the 1997 National Register of Historic Places nomination, the site includes 70 monuments.
Maryland
Civil War Monuments in Maryland was first done in 1995. It is a list of monuments for all wars in Maryland and those in other states that honor Maryland regiments.
Michigan
This site is based on a 1965 publication by George F. May. It include photographs of 44 monuments in 9 counties.
New York
This site includes information on Civil War monuments in 23 counties. Some have detailed information; others very little.
